Welcome to the “Planetary Calendar”. The approach is simple. Our species chooses to adopt a timing standard that is harmonious and synchronised with larger ‘Natural Time’ cycles. As stellar Zodiac signs encode knowledge of our planet’s place in the Galaxy, the Taurus-Gemini Cusp (May 19th-24th) - “Galactic Anti -Center” - was choosen to define “Planet Day” as being May 18th (in the Western - Global - Gregorian calendar).
As the “Planetary Calendar” is a true ‘Solar-Galactic’ calendar - the term “SUN” is used to denote a period of time that is 28 days in length. 13 “SUNS” of 28 days each is 364 days. “Planet Day” - May 18th - each year, is the pause point for our species to plan it’s maintanence schedule for the coming ‘year’ (one solar return).
By reforming the Planetary Timing standard our species will be able to create an equitable medium of exchange that will allow “The Big Clean Up” to make financial sense at every local level - Planet Wide!
The “Planetary Calendar” began in Buddapest, Hungary on May 18th - 2008 with a Declaration of Planetary Interdependance.
The first actual “Planet Day” took place in Avalon (UK) on May 18th, 2009. Many more are planned in the future.
Ask not what your planet can do for you - ask instead what you can do for your planet!
